Garden sheds for sale
Shed prices for the same size can vary by hundreds of pounds between suppliers. Tell us what you're after and up to three UK suppliers will send you prices, delivered or delivered and fitted.
Choose your roof
- Apex: a pitched roof with the ridge in the middle. More headroom down the centre and rain runs off both sides.
- Pent: a single slope. Fits under windows and fences, and the high side gives room for shelving.
- Reverse apex: the door is on the long side, so it's easier to reach the back.
Cladding: what the numbers mean
Overlap cladding is the cheapest and lets light and draughts through. Shiplap and tongue-and-groove interlock, and the thicker the board the longer the shed lasts. 12 mm is a mid-range board, 16 to 19 mm is premium. Pressure-treated timber resists rot for longer than dip-treated.
Delivered or fitted?
Most suppliers deliver flat-packed to the kerb. Fitting usually adds a fee and you still need a level base. Say on the form if you want the base laid too.

What size shed do I need?
Lawnmower and tools: 6×4 ft. Bikes: at least 6×3 ft with a wide door. Garden furniture and a workbench: 8×6 ft or more. Most people wish they'd gone a size up.
Are delivery charges included?
Not always. Ask each supplier for a delivered price to your postcode, especially in the Highlands, islands or Northern Ireland, where surcharges are common.
